Ben accepted Christ as a young boy and has always had a heart for ministry and helping people. He and his wife Mindy have three children, Jacob, Kyra and Cameron.

Becky

Becky Isaacs, the guitar player and vocalist for The Isaacs, started writing songs as a teen and landed her first number one with “Stand Still,” later following it with charting songs recorded by many artists.

Sonya and Becky penned “Heroes,” which won Bluegrass Song of the Year from the Dove Awards, along with other fan favorites including “Waiting in the Water,” “Your Cries Have Awoken The Master,” and “A Miracle Today.” She has also provided background vocals for a variety of artists including Paul Simon, Alabama, Dolly Parton, Don Williams, Merle Haggard, Trace Adkins and Russ Taff, and has received several Female Vocalist and Songwriter of the Year nominations.

In 2022 she released her first solo project, “Songs That Pulled Me Through The Tough Times,” which debuted at #4 on the Billboard Bluegrass Chart and #6 on the iTunes Country Chart. Becky has a passion for the Lord and loves to minister through song and testimony. She is married to singer, musician and minister John Bowman, and they have two children, Levi and Jakobi.

Sonya

Sonya Isaacs, the mandolin player and vocalist for The Isaacs, also spent time on a solo adventure with country label Lyric Street Records, where she recorded two albums, including one produced by Vince Gill, who she also toured with.

She began writing songs professionally and has had many recorded by Trisha Yearwood, Leann Rimes, Martina McBride, Vince Gill, Sara Evans and others, along with numerous bluegrass and gospel cuts. Sonya has won several Dove Awards for her songwriting and, over many years, has been nominated in female vocalist and other categories by the IBMA, SGMA and CCMA, winning numerous awards across genres.

She recently won Instrumentalist of the Year from the SGMA’s Singing News Awards. Sonya is also a frequent backing vocalist for artists like Reba, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Trisha Yearwood, Vince Gill and Carly Pearce. She is married to singer and songwriter Jimmy Yeary and they have two sons, Ayden and Gatlyn, and a daughter, Evya.

Lily

Lily Isaacs is the vocalist and matriarch of the group. She was born in Germany after World War II to two Polish Jewish Holocaust survivors and moved to the United States when she was two. Lily and her parents became American citizens at Ellis Island when she was nine years old.

She grew up in the Bronx, New York, studying theatre and performing on Off Broadway and at The Woodstock Playhouse. In 1968, she recorded a folk album on Columbia Records with a friend as “Lily and Maria,” touring the country and playing venues in Greenwich Village like Gerdes Folk City and The Bitter End Cafe.

Lily first came to know the Lord in 1971 after a death in her former husband’s family brought her to church for the first time. Soon after, they were inspired to begin singing Christian music and laid the foundation for the ministry The Isaacs still carry today. Lily is also a 30-year breast cancer survivor, and her testimony inspired the Martina McBride hit “I’m Gonna Love You Through It,” co-written by daughter Sonya, Jimmy Yeary and Ben Hayslip.

Her story has encouraged audiences around the world, leading to two autobiographies, You Don’t Cry Out Loud and A Wedding Dress With Combat Boots. Her passion is to sing and share about the love of Yeshua.
